Wästinn welcome private groups looking for a relaxed stay by the sea of Maxmo Archipelago. Groups can book accommodation from cozy rooms or cottages with breakfast and choose additional service such as home-cooked lunch and dinner and our unique Malt sauna.

Our unique Maltsauna
The Malt Sauna at Wästinn is a signature experience that blends deep Finnish tradition with a unique historical atmosphere.
The “Malt Sauna” refers to a traditional style of sauna building that was historically used for drying malted grain (for brewing beer) as well as for bathing. At Wästinn, we have preserved this heritage:
The Group Experience:
• Authentic Heating: It is a traditional sauna that is meticulously heated with birchwood for approximately 6 hours before guests arrive to ensure a deep, soft heat.
• Capacity: It can accommodate groups of up to 15 people in the sauna room and up to 30 people in the relax room at a time.
• Layout: The building includes the sauna area on the second floor and a dedicated relax room on both floor.
• Social Amenities: It features a large terrace where groups can enjoy “sauna snacks” and beverages (local craft beer and spirits can be arranged) while looking out over the Maxmo archipelago.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Meet & Explore
• Morning: Arrival and welcome followed by a morning meeting
• Lunch: Enjoy a home-cooked lunch prepared with fresh & local ingredients.
• Afternoon activities: Team-building experiences or Archipelago excursions (choose from kayaking, cycling, or hiking).
• Refreshments: Coffee, tea, and snacks served during the break.
• Evening: Relax in our signature Malt Sauna experience.
• Enjoy a Local-flavour dinner
• Accommodation: Overnight stay in cozy seaside cottages or comfortable guest rooms.
Day 2 – Refresh & Reflect
• Morning: Tasty Buffet breakfast.
• Peaceful morning walk along the sandy beach to clear the mind.
• Wrap-up: Final meeting session to consolidate ideas and reflections.
• Departure: Leave feeling refreshed, connected, and inspired.

- Private groups can book accommodation with breakfast and choose additional services such as dinner, malt sauna, and meeting facilities.
- We also arrange day meetings for groups seeking a peaceful environment by the sea. Meeting facilities (max 30 people), lunch, dinner with sweet and savory refreshments, and optional experiences can be arranged according to your needs.
- For dining-only groups, our popular salmon soup buffet with homemade dessert is an excellent option, well suited for larger excursion groups and associations (20–60 people).
